In addition to the new smartphone, LG also announced a new edition of the smartwatch. LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition is the first device with Android Wear equipped with a cellular module.
As a result, it can work independently from your smartphone on LTE networks, but also uses Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth. The watch has a P-OLED display with a resolution of 480x480 pixels, which, with a diagonal of 1.38 inches gives a ratio of 348 ppi density. The body is made of steel and the band with a hypoallergenic material TPSiV. The power supply provides a battery with a capacity of 570 mAh, having enough for a whole day of work. The watch has 4 GB of memory for files and 768 MB of RAM, it also has an accelerometer, a gyroscope, a compass and a barometer. The housing is waterproof and meets IP67.

The keys placed on the housing give you a quick access to shortcuts, eg. for applications LG Health or contacts. The crown button with a one motion allows you to enable energy-saving operation mode of the display, on board of the watch we will also find a sensor to measure pulse and monitoring the stress level. The device will go first to the US market and Korea, and later will be available in other countries, including Europe. The exact release date and pricing will be announced later. The watch will be available in four different colours: Space Black, Opal Blue, Luxe White, and Signature Brown.
