Yesterday I have presented photos of Lumia 950 and 950XL straight from the manufacturer, and today it is the time for the third of the newest models from Microsoft – Lumia 550. The photo (unfortunately, only one) was shared by leaks veteran, Evan Blass.
The photo published by Blass looks like an official, manufacturer’s render. Lumia 550 will be a budget construction so we cannot expect any craziness when it comes to the stylization. The smartphone has a simple, modest shape and a housing covered mostly by the plastic panel, which covers the back and sides of the device. The frame of the phone is probably made from the plastic as well. From the graphic presented today we can see that Lumia 550, just like 950 and 950XL will be sold only in black and white colours. But we cannot be 100-percent sure about it, just like we cannot be certain about the specification from previous leaks as well. Lumia 550 is supposed to receive a 5-inch 1280x720 pixels display and Snapdragon 200 or 210 supported with 1GB of RAM. The phone will have a 5-megapixel camera, 2-megapixel front camera and 8GB of flash memory with the possibility to extend it with microSD cards. The power will be provided by a 1905 mAh battery.

As a bonus to complement yetserday’s news, we have another photo of Lumia 950. But this is not all. Some Arabic site, quoted by Winbeta, published interesting news about the new tablet from Microsoft. According to them. Surface Pro 4 will be a hybrid device with an extremely narrow bezel. What is interesting, this bezel will be “smart”. Its wideness will change depending on the mode on which the tablet will be used. In the notebook position, with an added keyboard, the bezel will narrow itself to minimum giving a 13-inch wide image. When the user would like to hold it in hands, the device will recognize this feature and will narrow down the working area to 12 inches, widening the bezel. Then the tablet will be more comfortable both to holding and using. Unfortunately, this is just a rumour, just like the visualisation of the new Surface.
