The Honor brand owned by Huawei officially announced the model 5X. For now, this model will be offered, unfortunately, only in China but there is not excluded its sales in other countries.
The smartphone has received a slim metal casing reminiscent in appearance to other Huawei's models. This is not a complaint – the equipment looks really good, and it additionally has - well known from other models - a fingerprint scanner on the back panel. Interestingly, in this model there was abandoned the Kirin processor for the octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 with four cores Cortex-A53 with a clock of 1.7 GHz and next four cores A53 1.2GHz, working in a big.LITTLE system. The phone will be available in versions with 2 or 3 GB of RAM.

The internal memory is 16 GB and there is an option to expand it with a microSD card, but through the hybrid slot. It is therefore necessary to choose - either DualSIM, or singleSIM with more memory. Honor 5X has still a 13-megapixel camera, a 5-megapixel webcam front, and draws power from the battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. The device is running Android 5.1 Lollipop with the company's interface overlay EMUI 3.1. Operation of the device enables the 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The price in China will be (depending on the amount of RAM) 999 or 1,399 yuan, or approx. 140 and 200 euro.
