Without any fanfare, Huawei unveiled a new smartphone G7 Plus. It is a mid-range model, but the manufacturer boasts that its housing is 90 percent made of metal.
Indeed, the material can be seen only on the edges of the rear panel. We can also notice stereo speakers, a biometric scanner and a 13-megapixel camera equipped with a sapphire crystal lens and an optical image stabilization, as well as a dual LED flash.
The front of the phone is dominated by the 5.5-inch FullHD display with 2.5D glass, in one corner of which there is the front camera lens with 5-megapixels. The heart of the phone is an octa-core Snapdragon 615 processor, supported by 3 GB of RAM. The in-build memory capacity is 32 GB, but it can be expanded using a microSD card. The phone has the battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh and the operating system is Android 5.1 with full overlay EMUI. In February next year the smartphone is expected to receive an update to Marshmallow. Huawei G7 Plus is offered in silver, gold or graphite housing for the equivalent of approx. $ 330.
