Believe me, it is not worth mistaking HTC One M9s with HTC One M9. They have, however, quite different technical specifications and capabilities. Apparently one small letter, but it changes so much. The main difference is the type of processor and the camera's sensor.
For now it seems that HTC One M9s is slated for distribution only in the Far East, but even in this case, in the era of the global village, there is nothing to prevent that any distributor or dealer auction even brought this model also to Europe.

HTC One M9s is not a bad smartphone. Simply referring to the name HTC One M9 it hooks-up to the already well-known and respected name, which in the minds of buyers means Snapdragon 810, the camera with a matrix of 20 megapixels, 3 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of flash ROM. Well, no. HTC One M9s is a cheaper and technically poorer version of its predecessor.

The new HTC smartphone is based on a pretty good SoC MediaTek - Helio X10. It has a main camera with a 13 megapixels sensor, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of ROM. Isn't it good? But not as good as in the previous model.

In the manufacturer's company store online HTC One M9s costs 12,900 new Taiwan dollars (approx. 369 euros, $ 393). In the same shop HTC One M9 costs NT $ 18,900 (540 euros, $ 577) for 32 GB or NT $ 19900 (569 euros, $ 607), in 64 GB version. There is also HTC One M9+ with 32GB in the price of NT $ 19900.
