The French Archos company brought to CES two new smartphone series: Cobalt and Power. In each of them we will find two models supporting two SIM cards and reasonably priced.
The Cobalt series is placed in the lower zone of the middle shelf. Archos 55 Cobalt Plus - as the name suggests – is equipped with a 5.5-inch IPS HD display, it has a Mediatek MT6735P CPU along with 2GB of RAM. The internal memory has 16GB and on board we can find a 13-megapixel main camera and a 2-megapixel front camera as well. The power is provided by a 2700 mAh battery. The smaller model of this line, that is Archos 50 Cobalt has a display with the same resolution, but is a half inch smaller – so it has a better ppi ratio. In this model we have a Mediatek MT6535P CPU, 1GB of RAM and a modest 8GB of internal memory with the possibility to enhance it with a microSD card, just like in the rest of new Archos. This model has 8- and 2-megapixel cameras and its battery has 2000 mAh capacity. The prices will be 149 and 99 euro respectively.
