Huawei introduced in Las Vegas their latest products, and (traditionally) presented their results. Novelties - the tablet and the women's smartwatch.

The conference began with a presentation of the results of the company. There is something to boast with. The company recorded a huge increase in sales and profits, selling more than 100 million smartphones - 44% more than the year before. Huawei as we know is the third manufacturer of smartphones in the world, but - interestingly - it turned out that Poland is one of its most important markets. The brand recognition is increasing and the company invests more and more in research and development, presenting innovative solutions.

But we already know it all. What else has been shown in Las Vegas? Americans could get to know the model Mate 8, which had its launch in China a few weeks ago. Apart from the specification, which we already know, we got to know colour variants of this phone, its availability and price. There will be four different colours, and the price will be 600 or 700 euro - respectively for versions 3/32 GB and 4/64 GB.

The star of the evening was the Huawei MediaPad M2 10 tablet. The device has a slim metal casing, four 1-watt surround speakers from Harma /Kardon and a 10.1-inch IPS display with a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Its heart is the processor Kirin 930 2 GHz aided by 2 or 3 GB of RAM, and internal memory with a capacity of 16 or 64 GB. The tablet has a battery with a capacity of 6600 mAh, while photographing and filming enable two cameras - 13- and 5-megapixel. In the role of the system - we have Android 5.1.1 with the EMUI overlay. The equipment will be in the Wi-Fi and LTE version. Further, optionally it will be offered with the dedicated stylus M-Pen. Prices will amount to between 350 and 470 euro - depending on the selected version.

Another novelty was a new version of Huawei Watch - this time designed for women. Female Huawei's watch comes in two variants, known as Jewel and Elegant. The device is closely related to the current model of Huawei Watch – it is, however, more slender band and gilded face. In the Jewel version the shield is surrounded by artificial diamonds.

On the technical side, the watch has a 1.4-inch AMOLED display 400 x 400 pixels, a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 400 processor and 512 MB of RAM. The device runs on Android Wear and works with phones running Android and iOS. The watch has a battery with a capacity of 300 mAh. The watch is able to receive voice calls - I hope that it will appear also in the existing model, after the update. Price? 500 or 600 euro.

The conference was crowned with the announcement of the introduction of new colour versions of Nexus 6P, the song "Make it Possible" and the traditional photo of the President Richard Yu with fans. Mr. Yu is perhaps the most-loved boss in the business... Who saw the conference with his participation, one knows why.
