Xiaomi has announced a new smartphone Redmi 3, which biggest advantage will be a powerful battery equipped with a fast charging mode.
The smartphone was enclosed in a metal housing with an interesting pattern on its back. The phone has a 5-inch IPS screen with an HD resolution and octa-core Snapdragon 616 (4x1.5 GHz + 4x1,2 GHz) processor, supported by Adreno 405 graphics and 2GB of RAM. The phone also has 16GB internal memory, a microSD card slot that supports up to 128 GB and all relevant communication modules, including LTE. It can handle two SIM cards, but in a hybrid slot, at a cost memory expansion. The equipment is complemented with two standard mid-range cameras. The rear has 13 megapixels and a lens aperture of f/2.0, while the front - has 5 megapixels and the lens of f/2.2.

The highlight here is, as I mentioned, the battery. It has a capacity of 4100 mAh, and also its charging from zero to a half capacity will take only an hour. Such a powerful battery in combination with a rather not demanding rest of the device's specification should ensure a nice time work. The manufacturer so far has not made any declaration relating to working time of Redmi 3, but I suspect that it will reach two days. Importantly, the battery size did not affect the weight and dimensions of the phone. The enclosure is slim, and the whole smartphone weighs 144 grams. The price of the unit will be 700 yuan in presale, or less than $ 110.
