The Oppo company presented the new smartphone from the F series. Oppo F1 will belong to the higher class: it has a carefully crafted housing and a strong selfie camera.
In the phone there is placed a typical, indistinctive camera with a 13-megapixel matrix, an f/2.2 lens and a single LED flash. Much more attention was brought to the front camera. It received an 8-megapixel matrix, an f/2.0 lens and a Beautify 3.0 interface. Its name suggests what is the strongest part of the software… Besides beautifying, the camera received eight colour filters and the lack of the LED flash is compensated with the possibility to turn the display into an illuminating lamp.
Besides advanced selfie capabilities, there is something for aesthetes. The metal, unibody housing looks nice and solid, and what is more, it is rather slim – it is 7.25mm thick. Most of the front is taken by a 5-inch IPS HD display, covered with a convex Gorilla Glass 4. Inside we have an octa-core Snapdragon 616 1.7 GHz supported with Adreno 405 GPU and 3GB of RAM. The phone supports LTE networks and a DualSIM mode, it has 16GB of internal memory and a microSD socket in the hybrid slot (instead of a one SIM card). The power is provided by a 2500 mAh battery, and everything is controlled by Android 5.1 Lollipop with a Color 2.1 interface add-on. The smartphone is available in a pre-order in Vietnam for an equivalent of 290 dollars. The first 1500 people who will purchase it will receive a Bluetooth iLike earphone set. In later time Oppo F1 will be available in other countries.
