The review of Oukitel K10000 with an amazing battery

Oukitel K10000 made a really great impression on me. At first, I was a bit scared of the “impact” with the Chinese product, but after first minutes I liked this device. Basically, it does not stand out from brand models of more renowned companies. I must admit I am nicely surprised.

The phone from the GearBest store arrived to me in a few days and formalities concerned with its import were limited to paying customs on pickup – everything was taken care of by the forwarder. The phone arrived in an aesthetical package, along with a set of accessories.

The set does not covers earphones, but we receive a 2-amper charger, a plastic cover-backs and two foils protecting the display, wherein the first one is already installed on the phone. The set covers a USB-OTG adapter, thanks to which we can use the biggest advantage of K10000 - a large battery.

Oukitel K10000 is equipped with an impressive battery of 10000 mAh capacity. It is enough to power the smartphone for at least a few days, but – thanks to the adapter mentioned before – it can “save” other devices as well.

I have not tested it yet, but instead – I use it as the main communication device. I charged the battery on Wednesday. We have Monday and there is still 14% of battery left. We will see when it will give up… For now I am really surprised…

The side effect of using such a large battery is unfortunately the weight of the phone. Oukitel K10000 weighs slightly more than 180g. The weight of the phone is noticeable, but this is a low price for such impressive performance of the battery. Some users may be bothered by other dimensions of the device – the smartphone is rather large and fat – but for me – this is an advantage. I feel that I am holding something solid in my hand.

Oukitel K10000 is a device for men – and not only because of dimensions and weight, but because of the stylization as well. Of course the looks of the device is perceived individually – but I really like the Chinese strongman. The metal housing with numerous, sharp cuts distinguishes it in the crowd and attracts attention. I can risk saying that the device is elegant. And though it looks does not have to appeal to everyone, I must mark the stylization of the device as its advantage.

Especially that the quality of the construction and the assembly of the housing is really high. The body is stiff, solid and insusceptible to scratches. I am sure that, with time, the housing should not lose its beauty, especially that we can protect it with a plastic add-on from the set.

The smartphone has a modest specification – this is not the top construction, but on the other hand – it does not lack anything. Oukitel K10000 has a 5.5-inch HD display and a quad-core MediaTek MT6735 CPU supported with 2GB of RAM. I did not test it with any benchmark so far, but my subjective impression is positive. The interface is smooth, I did not notice any problems with its work. All apps that I use every day run and work without any problems. The phone works equally well with all Bluetooth and Wi-Fi accessories that I use every day.

The device works without any problems so far. The price of the phone is 180 dollars (plus customs and tax).
