In addition to the new flagship, LG is to showcase at the MWC the new range of middle class mobile. The new series carries the designation X, and the first models belonging to it will be X cam and X screen.
The smartphones from X series are designed for the average shelf price, but LG as usually intends to arm them in solutions borrowed from higher-end models. Both models will handle the LTE network and will work on Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the LG overlay. In both models there were installed microSD card slots up to 2 TB and NFC modules. The manufacturer claims that - depending on the target market – the specifications are subject to change. It is therefore possible that each model will have different versions. For now, there was given only general information.
LG X cam outstands with a dual camera, equipped with 13- and 5-megapixel sensor. The manufacturer hasn't specified yet what opportunities an additional lens will add, but we suspect that the camera will take pictures with liquid blur background, alternating the focus point, and may even allow the use of special effects - eg. gluing fragments of images to other frames. We'll find out more during the presentation - or from other unofficial leaks.
In addition to the extensive camera, this phone will be equipped with a 5.2-inch FullHD In-cell display, an octa-core processor with a clock speed of 1.14 GHz and 2 GB of RAM. On board we will also find 16GB of internal memory, an 8-megapixel front webcam and a battery with a capacity of 2520 mAh. The dimensions of the housing are 147.5 x 73.6 x 5,2-6,9 mm, there was also reported that it will be offered in four colours: titanium, white, gold and pink gold.
LG X screen will stand out with an additional screen placed above the main display, just like in the V10 model. In this case, the main display has a diagonal of 4.93 inches and an HD resolution, an additional size is 1.76 inches and has a resolution of 520x80 pixels. The heart of this smartphone will be a quad-core processor with a clock of 1.2 GHz, supported by 2 GB of RAM. X screen will receive 16 GB of memory, a 2300 mAh battery and two cameras: 13- and 8-megapixel. The dimensions of this model are 142.6 x 71.8 x 7.1 mm, and the housing will be available in the colours: white, black and pink gold.
