LG announces another launch at MWC. This time it's about the successor to G4 Stylus. The new model, called LG Stylus 2 will receive a brand new stylus with a nano-coated tip.
LG Stylus 2 will have a modified software, enhanced with new features associated with the stylus. When removing the stylus from the housing, there will appear on the screen, the contextual Pen Pop menu, providing a quick access to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner applications. Unfortunately, the manufacturer has not described the operation of these programs, so we can only judge them by their names... Another new development is to be Pen Keeper, which prevents the stylus from being misplaced by displaying a popup message when the phone is detected as being in motion when the stylus bay is empty. LG has also announced an application Calligraphy Pen, which will draw as beautifully as the fountain pen. The new stylus, thanks to an improved tip is to be more precise.
LG Stylus 2 will receive a slim casing (155 x 79.6 x 7.4 mm, 145 g) with the metal frame and the back covered with the pattern called Spin Hairline. The housing will be available in three colours: titan, white or brown. The heart of the smartphone will be a 1.2 GHz quad-core, supported by 1.5 or 2 GB of RAM (depending on market), and the display will have a size of 5.7 inches and an HD resolution. The smartphone will also receive 16 GB of internal memory, a battery with a capacity of 3000 mah and communication modules LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.1. There will be two cameras - with 8- and 13-megapixels. The phone will appear on store shelves in March. First in Korea, then in the US, and subsequently in selected countries in Europe and Asia.
