Lava introduced in India two new smartphones. The models V2 3GB and V2s are an extension of the last year's smartphone Lava Pixel V2.
Both smartphones refer to the predecessor, but differ from it with specifications. Both phones have 5-inch HD displays, as well as quad-core MediaTek MT6735 CPUs. The smartphones support LTE mode and Dual-SIM, they also have support for VoLTE and USB-OTG, as well as a slot for microSD cards up to 32 GB. Both novelties have batteries with a capacity of 2500 mAh, both models will also have an 8-megapixel front camera supported by LED flash.
There are quite a few similarities, but there are also differences. Lava V2 3GB has a 13-megapixel camera, 16 GB of flash memory and - as the name of the phone implies - 3 GB of RAM. The smartphone uses Android 6.0 with the Star OS overlay. On the other hand Lava V2s has an 8-megapixel camera, 8GB of internal memory and 2 GB of RAM. In this model the Star OS interface operates on Android 5.1.
The new models belong to the Pixel family, the manufacturer therefore concentrated on their photographic part. The cameras' sensors have pixels in size of 1.4 micron, and the lenses with the brightness F/2.0 are equipped with blue light filters. The cameras are supported by the dual LED flashes. The cameras complements MagicPix software containing many different thematic programs. Lava V2s costs the equivalent of $ 131, while V2 3GB - $ 161. The more expensive model will be available in black, white or gold, and the cheaper - only in black or white.
