I'm still in London, but instead of exploring the city straight from the conference I rushed to the hotel to unpack the received test copy of Huawei P9 and share with you the first impressions.
These are rather positive. Rather - because Huawei P9 has two things which I do not like. The first is a USB-C, forcing me to remember to bring the right cable. At the moment – I will not even buy it in the shop "around the corner". The second element, which "I can't stand" - is a hybrid card slot. I have to choose - either a DualSIM mode, or additional memory on microSD. Why?!

Fortunately - all the rest is great. The interface - friendly and colorful EMUI, which I like very much. The manufacturer has not overdone with "junk" aps, and those that are there - can be removed. Another nice thing – is the housing. It is a metal monolith with a very slim line. It looks solid - but I do not know how it will be with durability. The display - though it's "only" FullHD, looks good… although the level of brightness probably does not stun. Still I'll check it out. I wish I was wrong.

The smartphone is surprisingly light - but it lies well in the hand. It's nice to hold it. The speaker - although a single, it plays loud and resonant. The set includes aesthetic headphones and a cable and a USB power adapter - 2A output. We write a lot of about the cameras in the report from the conference - but a picture is worth a thousand words, so I invite you to look at some sample shots in the gallery on the phone's card - in a few days there will be more.

For now - apart from those details mentioned at the outset - I like the phone very much. The most visible is good quality of physical appearance - but it's probably all I can say, having the device from tens of minutes in hand. Oh, I can add that Huawei P9 has not caused problems while I switched it on the first time, the setup was quick and easy, and the connection to the hotel's Wi-Fi works flawlessly. I can tell you more only after several days, in a review which you can find in tests section. I just need some time to use the phone to tell you about it honestly and objectively.
