At the end of March, I wrote about the brand Creo, I did not think that the project moves beyond the idea stage. It turns out that it went out - and here I got the first phone from this brand Creo Mark 1 with a new operating system Fuel OS.

In March, the manufacturer promised that the phone will receive regular monthly updates. It was to be a key feature of the system Fuel OS based on Android 5.1 Lollipop. It turns out that the new platform introduces a few additional interesting features. Let's take, for instance, Sense - a search engine that runs double click on the "home" button. It differs from the standard with the ability to run at any time, even from the running application. In addition, the search engine checks the entire contents of the phone - all the files, messages or applications.

Another interesting option is called Retriever and provides an advanced protection of the phone. It allows to remotely track the phone, of course, it also gives the opportunity to its blockade and does not allow to remove even after a factory reset. The protection mode can be activated manually, but the phone can be locked, eg. by inserting another SIM card than the registered owner. A practical solution is a Smart Roaming. If we use two SIM cards, including one from a foreign network, the phone automatically switches to the local card as soon as we find ourselves within its network.

The Fuel OS debuts on the smartphone Mark 1, which - as for its price - looks quite attractive. Creo Mark 1 has an octa-processor MediaTek Helio X10 clocked at 1.95 GHz, supported by 3 GB of RAM and an internal memory of 32 GB with optional expansion card of 128 GB.

Additionally we have a 5.5-inch display with a QHD resolution behind Gorilla Glass 3, a 21-megapixel Sony IMX230 camera with a dual LED flash and 4K video recording and a front 8 Mpx camera. As you already noticed, Mark 1 supports two SIM cards, it has USB with OTG, Bluetooth 4.1, Wi-Fi and LTE and a battery with a capacity of 3100 mAh. Its price in India is 19,999 rupees, or approx. $ 300.
