LeEco presents three new smartphones

The Chinese company LeEco unveiled today three new smartphones: Le Max 2, Le 2 Pro and Le 2. The mobiles stand out with no output minijack - its role takes USB-C.

The company has opted for a new solution, offering audio output via USB-C in CDLA standard - Continual Digital Lossless Audio. It aims to ensure better sound quality. For a starter, with mobile phones LeEco offers two headsets: a miniature and a classic one, with noise reduction.

The top model among the new products will be LeEco Le Max 2. It is equipped with a 5.7-inch QHD display and Snapdragon 820 processor. The smartphone will be created in two varieties. The stronger has 6 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash media, and weaker - respectively 4 and 32 GB. The phone uses Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the overlay EUI 5.5. LeEco Le Max 2 has a 21-megapixel IMX230 camera with an optical stabilization and lens f/2.0, as well as an 8-megapixel front camera. The phone supports DualSIM and LTE, has an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and draws power from the battery with a capacity of 3100 mAh with the option of fast charging. Its price will amount to 285 and 340 euro.

LeEco Le 2 Pro is an average phone. It has a 5.5-inch full HD screen and MediaTek Helio X25 processor supported by 4 GB of RAM. The smartphone has 32 GB of internal memory, a traditional fingerprint scanner and a 3000 mAh battery. In this model, similarly to the above, we have Android 6.0 5.5 EUI., an 8-megapixel front camera and a 21-megapixel IMX230 camera but without an optical stabilization. The price of this model is 205 euro.

The cheapest and the least advanced of the novelties is LeEco Le 2. This phone has a 5.5-inch FullHD display. The device uses MediaTek Helio X20 processor paired with 3 GB of RAM memory and 32 GB flashROM. LeEco Le 2 has a 16-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel front camera and a biometric scanner and a battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh. The system - is again Android 6.0 EUI 5.5. This model was priced at 150 euro.
