The American company BLU launches two new low-cost smartphones. BLU Dash X2 and Dash M2 are to tempt US residents with a low price and metal housings.
In China a cheap phone with a metal housing is not anything special, but in the United States - no longer so. BLU opted for an attractive design, but in order to keep a low price, it had to "come down" from the specifications. Thus, finally, we have two phones for less demanding users, tying the greatest importance to the appearance of the device.
The heart of BLU Dash X2 and Dash M2 is a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor with a 1.3 GHz clock with Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Both models operate in a DualSIM, but unfortunately not in LTE networks. They only support 3G, which at this price level is - although barely - but understandable. In both models there are microSD slots (64 GB), which in this type of constructions are essential. The last of the common features are 2-megapixel front webcams.

BLU Dash X2 has a 5-inch HD screen, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of external memory. The phone has an 8-megapixel camera. BLU Dash M2 is even weaker. It has only 512 MB of RAM and 4 GB of memory for data. It has a 5-megapixel camera, and the interface is presented on a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels.
For now, both models are available only in the US, where they cost respectively less than 85 and $ 70.
