According to the announcement, the smartphone Honor V8 debuted in China. The smartphone is available in three versions, and its advantage is a camera similar to that of Huawei P9.
Of course, the devil is in the details. Honor V8's camera does not have the Leica logo, it has also probably a slightly different look of the interface and software involved in the processing of the image. Nevertheless - looking at the data - there is no way to get the impression that the photo parts of these two smartphones are similar. Honor V8 has a dual camera with a 12-megapixel resolution, equipped with a hybrid autofocus, which uses both a phase detection and a laser. The camera optics has a brightness of f/2.2, and one of the lens captures a monochrome image. The camera has a lot of options, including blurring the background or an animated panorama. While the front camera has 8 megapixels and lens f/2.2.
The heart of the 5.5-inch Honor V8 is an octa-core Kirin 950 processor 2.3 GHz, supported by 4 GB of RAM and Mali-T880 graphics. The phone will, however, appeared in the Premium version, with Kirin 955 processor, 2.5 GHz. The phone is equipped with modules Wi-Fi, LTE, GPS and Bluetooth 4.2, as well as the IR remote control and a fingerprint scanner. The non-separable aluminum housing, available in up to six colours fit even the battery with a capacity of 3500 mAh with the option of fast charging, as well as a slot for microSD and two SIM cards - what's important, non-hybrid. The phone runs on Android 6.0 with the overlay Marshmallow EMUI 4.1 and weighs 170 g. Its dimensions are 157x77,6x7,75 mm.

As I mentioned, there are three versions. The first has a FullHD display and 32 GB of internal memory, the other is the same, but enhanced with NFC. In turn, the third top-of variation, has not only NFC and 64 GB of memory, but a display with a resolution increased to QHD. It is the premium model, as the only driven by Kirin 955.
Prices for each version are successively 2299, 2499 and 2799 yuan, which gives approx. 310, 340 and 380 euro. Unfortunately, this is only a model for the Chinese market.
