Oppo officially unveiled the smartphone A59. The smartphone will be available in China from June 18.
Oppo A59 is a mediocre, enclosed in a slim metal housing. Despite the small thickness of 7.3 mm, the housing has managed to fit a battery with a capacity of 3075 mAh. The phone has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display and a 1.5 GHz MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor, supported by Mali-T860 graphics and 3GB of RAM. The phone comes with 32 GB of internal memory and a fingerprint scanner, unlocking the phone in 0.22 sec.

Oppo A59 received a 5-megapixel front camera, while the back is better, 13-megapixel camera with PDAF system and a single LED flash. The phone has a minijack socket and the microUSB with OTG, the equipment also includes an FM radio, Wi-Fi modules (dual band), Bluetooth 4.1 and LTE with support for VoLTE. In the smartphone there was installed Android 5.1 Lollipop with an interface overlay ColorOS 3.0. The phone will be available in casings in gold and pink for 1,800 yuan, which gives approx. $ 275.
