A new model belonging to Huawei's brand Honor debuted in China. Honor 8 has an elegant housing, and a reasonable specification and an acceptable price.
Honor 8 has received a housing with a metal frame, finished at the front and rear with panes of convex 2.5D glass. The phone has a 5.2-inch LTPS display with a FullHD resolution and an octa-core Kirin 950 processor paired with Mali-T880 MP4 graphics and 3 GB or 4 GB of RAM. There will be a choice of two versions of internal memory, 32 or 64 GB, in both cases with the possibility of extension with a 64 GB microSD card - but in a hybrid slot, or alternatively with an additional SIM card. In total, the phone will appear in three models of memory: 3+32, 4+32 and 4+64 GB.

Honor 8 received a dual 12-megapixel Sony IMX286 camera with a laser autofocus and lens aperture of f/2.2. It's not optics with a Leica logo, but the system works similarly as in Huawei P9: One matrix captures a colour image, and the second one - monochrome. At the front Honor 8 has a classic 8-megapixel camera with f/2.4. The phone has modules Bluetooth 4.2, LTE, GPS/GLONASS, NFC and Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, there is also a USB port with OTG-C. The phone feeds the battery with a capacity of 3000 mAh with the option of fast charging while in the role of the system we have Android 6.0 Marshmallow with the overlay EMUI 4.1. Honor 8 measures 145,5x71x7,45 mm and weighs 153 g. The will be housing in white, black, blue, pink and gold. Prices for the various versions amount to 1999, 2299 and 2499 yuan, approx. 299, 345 or $ 375.
