LG announced officially another "Friend" which is to be used as the company to LG G5. This time it's the camera Action CAM LTE.
As the name implies, Action CAM LTE is a portable action camera, equipped with the LTE module. The device is part of the LG Playground ecosystem and it has a housing prepared to work in difficult conditions - sealed with an IP67 standard. The camera can record in UHD resolution (1440x2560, 30 frames/s), FullHD (1080x1920, 30 frames/s) and HD (720x1280, 120 frames/s). In addition, it is possible to stream live through Wi-Fi, 3G or LTE, HD/30 frames/sec.
Inside the camera there is working Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 processor supported by 2GB of RAM, and 4GB of a built-in memory is almost entirely occupied by the system. To record anything, we need a microSD card, best a fast one. The camera is "promotionally" and stylishly associated with LG G5, but it will also work with any other smartphone running on Android 5.0 Lollipop or iOS 9, and newer versions of these platforms. To operate the camera there is a special application that allows a remote control of Action CAM LTE and a preview of the image on the phone screen.
The camera will come with a wide range of fixings. The device is available for now only in Korea, but it is also to appear on other markets. The camera costs 399,300 won, or approx. $ 350.
