Analysts say that this year Apple is going to release two new smartwatches. One will be a slightly improved version of Apple Watch, and the second - a full-fledged successor to the first watch with number 2. Apple Watch will receive GPS, barometer and water resistance.
Ming-Chi Kuo, one of the respected mobile market analysts says that by the end of the year Apple will have prepared for its users an improved version of Apple Watch, which will present a very similar design, but slightly different hardware capabilities, such as processor made in the technology of 16 nm and/or water resistance.
The continuer of a series, which is Apple Watch 2 could have a GPS radio, a greater capacity battery and a barometer.

Ming-Chi Kuo predicts that major changes in the appearance of the watch may appear only in two years, in 2018, while next year should bring LTE functionality.
