A few days before the IFA convention the French company Archos reviled what launches it prepared for the Berlin event. These are two budget smartphones - 50f Helium and 55 Helium, but the second one will appear in three versions.
Archos 50f Helium is the cheapest and the simplest of these two novelties. It has a 5-inch IPS HD display and a quad-core Snapdragon 210 CPU. It will be offered in two versions with different memories. The base model will have 2GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM, while the Archos 50f Helium Light will receive 1+8GB. Archos 50f Helium obviously has a microSD card socket (up to 128GB) and two cameras – 8- and 2-megapixel. The hardware covers a fingerprint scanner and a battery with a capacity of 2000mAh and the Qualcomm Quick Charge mode as well. The phone will cost 132 or 105 dollars.

Archos 55 Helium is a slightly more advanced model, which will appear on the market in three versions. Besides the basic amount of memory we will have a model with a larger amount of memory and a special 4 Seasons version, which will be the basic model with four colourful battery covers. Archos 55 Helium has a 5.5-inch HD display and a quad-core Mediatek MT6737 CPU and a socket for a microSD card of up to 128GB. The basic version has a 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM. The same amount of memory has the 4 Seasons version. And the powerful Archos 55 Helium Ultra version will receive 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM. The phone will be powered by a 2700mAh battery while taking photos will be possible thanks to two cameras: 2- and 8-megapixel. The price will begin from 117 dollars. The 4 Seasons model costs 132 dollars, while the Ultra version – 157 dollars.
Both models support LTE, DualSIM mode and they work under Android 6.0 Marshmallow. We still do not know whether these are the only novelties that Archos will show on IFA…
