At night our time LG has unveiled in US its flagship for the second half of the year. LG V20, like its predecessor V10 has a lot of interesting solutions.
LG V20 unfortunately, is less elegant than its predecessor. The new model has a simpler, more rounded line, somewhat reminiscent of the model presented in February, LG G5. An undoubted advantage is however the casing made of metal, which also comes in several colours: silver, graphite and pink. The body of the phone is made of alloy marked AL6013, which is widely used in the aerospace industry. As a result, we managed to get reliability for meeting military standard MIL-STD-810, which guarantees a high resistance to falls. The phone does not support external modules like LG G5, but the housing is disassembled and there is the possibility of a free replacement of the battery. It has a capacity of 3200 mAh and can be charged at an accelerated pace in the technology QuickCharge 3.0.

The smartphone has on the back a distinctive "hump", which includes two lenses of the photographic camera. The camera is similar as in LG G5. The main camera has 16 megapixels, f/1.8, optical stabilization and a hybrid autofocus, based on a laser sensor and PDAF. Additional rear camera has 8 megapixels, fixed focus and wide-angle lens f/2.4 covering the field of view of 135 degrees. The camera has the system Steady Record 2.0, which is the electronic image stabilization video, controlled by the gyro. In addition, the system tracks the subject and also stabilizes the video based on motion detected in the frame. Slightly below the camera there is placed a fingerprint scanner. While the front camera has 5 megapixels, and lens aperture of f/1.9. Here, too, you can switch between the ordinary and wide view, but the change is generated electronically, not optically.

LG V20 has a screen similar to that of LG V10: a 5.7-inch IPS QHD. However, the brightness was increased and the additional display panel over the main screen was extended. It holds more text, but the amount of the icons remained such as in LG V10. The heart of the new LG V20 is a quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor paired with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB of memory for data, which can be enlarged with the microSD card. A big emphasis was put on sound. LG V20 has four DACs and features 75-level fine volume and balance controls.. Of course, the device supports lossless formats, and also is compatible with B&O Play. Headphones of this type are, of course, in a set - but not the same on each market.

In the role of the operating system - of course, Android 7.0 with the overlay LG UX 5.0+. LG V20 will be available in the third quarter of this year, but not globally. It will be certainly in the US and Asia, while in the US will not be available in pink. The price hasn't been given yet, but earlier there were rumours that it will be approx. $ 650.
