Xiaomi unveiled three new smartphones. They belong to one series, have some common features, but they aim at other groups of buyers.
The simplest and cheapest model of the new family is Xiaomi Redmi 4A. Just like the two more expensive brothers, it has a metal casing, albeit with a slightly different styling. The phone features a 5-inch HD IPS display and a 1.4 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 processor with Adreno 308 graphics and 2GB of RAM.

The phone also has a 13- and 5-megapixel cameras, and a battery with a capacity of 3120 mAh. Redmi 4A has 16 GB of internal memory, which can be expaned with a microSD card - but in a hybrid slot, alternating with DualSIM. Redmi 4A price is 499 yuan, or $ 74. Available housing colors are pink and gold.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 Standard Edition is a base model – a mid-range phone. It has a 5-inch IPS HD display with 2.5D glass and a 1.4 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 graphics and 2GB of RAM. Also in this model, we have 16 GB of memory with a microSD slot in a hybrid slot, the front camera is also 5-megapixel.

The rear camera has the same resolution as in the cheaper Redmi 4A, but it's a more advanced module - with PDAF, autofocus and a dual LED flash. It also has a fingerprint scanner and a battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh. Xiaomi Redmi 4 can be bought in silver, gold or graphite housing, paying 699 yuan, or $ 103.5.

Xiaomi Redmi 4 High Edition is the top model. It has the most memory of the three 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB for data. The screen is still 5-inch, but FullHD. On the other hand, the LED flash at the back of the camera is not only double, but two-colour – the base Redmi 4 has only one colour. The heart of this phone is a 2 GHz octa-core Snapdragon 625 processor with Adreno 506 graphics. The styling and the rest of the equipment are the same as in Redmi 4. The price of this variant of the "4" is 899 yuan, which gives $ 133.
