There is the UAProof documentation for Sony Xperia models, which will probably be presented at the MWC 2017 in Barcelona. We have data of models G3112, G3116, G3221, G3223 and G3236.
There is not too much information, as it is usually in the UAProof documentation, but it is certain and also contrary to appearances, there is not as many models as it would seem. Let’s keep in mind that each Sony Xperia model has several versions, and each of them is called differently due to minor (support for different 3G/4G network range) or even smaller (support for 1 or 2 SIM cards) differences.
In the available data, there are at least two different models in several versions. The only visible difference is the display resolution: 720x1280 pixels for G3112 and G3116, and 1080x1920 pixels with respect to G3221, G3223 and G3226. Other data seems to be identical:
- All models are controlled by Android 7.0 Nougat
- The CPU is a Mediatek MT6757 Helio P20 2.3 GHz
- Supported communication interfaces: LTE, WLAN, BT 4.2

The launch is expected in Barcelona at MWC 2017. Then we will learn about the other details of the specification, we will be able to see the pictures, and especially for you recount the launch directly from the fair because we go there as every year.
