BLU introduced a new budget model. BLU R1 Plus has a 5.5-inch screen and a metal casing, and its price starts at $ 140.
BLU R1 Plus is so far available only in the US, Amazon and several local retail chains. The smartphone has a 5.5-inch HD display with Gorilla Glass 3 and a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 1.3 GHz processor. The device is offered in two variants, differing in memory. The cheaper model has 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, while the more expensive has 3 + 32 GB of memory. The stronger version is $ 20 more expensive.
BLU R1 Plus uses Android 6.0 Marshmallow and draws power from a 4000 mAh battery. The 8- and 13-megapixel cameras found in BLU R1 Plus received LED flashes - each got one. There is also a hybrid DualSIM - alternating with a microSD slot supporting cards up to 64 GB. The smartphone has dimensions of 153 x 76.6 x 10.5 mm and weighs 190 g.
