Huawei officially introduced two new mid-range smartphones - Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus.
Today's models represent a continuation of the line launched at last year's IFA fair in Berlin. Nova 2 and Nova 2 Plus resemble the styling of the flagship model P10 - they have slim metal casings, 2.5D display slides and iPhone style antennas.

Both models have dual cameras on the back, with a main 12 megapixel camera with f/1.8 lens and 8 Mpx additional camera. The front cameras have a resolution of 20 megapixels. The heart of the new smartphones is the Kirin 659 processor with A53 cores clocked at 4x2.36 and 4x1.7 GHz, powered by 4GB of RAM and MaliT830-MP2 graphics. Internal memory is available in two versions - 64 GB in Nova 2 and 128 GB in Nova 2 Plus. Memory can be expanded with a 128 GB card, but in a hybrid slot, alternating with dualSIM.

The phones vary in a display size and a battery life. Huawei Nova 2 has a 5-inch screen and a 2950 mAh battery. Huawei Nova 2 Plus has a 5.5-inch display and a 3340 mAh battery. In both cases the displays have FullHD resolution and are made in LTPS technology. The phones use Android 7.0 with EMUI 5.1. The AK4376A system provides sound.

Huawei Nova 2 has dimensions of 142.2x68.9x6.9 and weighs 143 g, while Nova 2 Plus measures 153.9x74.9x6.9 mm and weighs 169 g. New smartphones will be available in black, green, blue, gold and pink. Huawei Nova 2 costs 2499 yuan, while Nova 2 Plus is 2899 yuan. After conversion, we will get $ 364 and $ 423. Sales will begin on June 16th.
