Coolpad announces a new, affordable smartphone - Defiant. The device will be offered in the US, and for now there is no information on distribution on other markets.
Coolpad Defiant has a plastic casing and a 5-inch screen with a resolution of 854x480 pixels. The heart of the phone is the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 MSM8917 processor supported by a gigabyte of memory. Internal memory has only 8 GB, but it can be expanded with a microSD card by 32 GB.
Coolpad Defiant also features a 2 megapixel front camera and 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash at the back. Coolpad Defiant has GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi, and works under Android 7.0 Nougat. All this supplies a 2450 mAh battery, providing up to 9 hours of continuous talk time.
