As announced, the Korean division of LG has unveiled two new versions of G6. The first was called LG G6+, while the second, which was formerly known as the "Pro", was called LG G6 32 GB.
Changing the name seems to be right. The model that was supposed to be called G6 Pro is actually a poorer variant, with 32 GB of memory - so the final tag is definitely more suited to it. Apart from less memory, this model is no different from the basic LG G6. Actually - this is the Korean equivalent of the model available in Europe - because the base version for Korea has 64 GB of memory and a 32 bit audio converter. LG G6 32 GB will be available in Terra Gold, Marine Blue and White Mystic colours.
On the other hand, LG G6+ is the top G6 version, which brings together all the extras found locally. So we have a standard G6, 128 GB of memory, and a 32-bit Quad DAC and wireless charging, which is standard on the US market so far. LG G6+ will be available in previously unavailable colour versions - Optical Astro Black, Optical Terra Gold and Optical Marine Blue, with an opaque effect. The phone comes with a good quality Bang&Olufsen handset, which also has a logo on the phone. This model is expected to reach distribution outside Korea, but details are not specified. Prices are also not quoted, but according to earlier rumours, they are expected to reach respectively 790 and 999,000 won, $ 705 and $ 890.
