It hasn’t been a few hours since the big leak on the Asus Zenfone 4 Max smartphone, and we can already announce its official release.

This time we are back with data from the manufacturer. Asus Zenfone 4 Max has received a metal casing that will be available in gold, black or pink. Unfortunately, rumours of a multitude versions of this phone confirm. First of all, we have two versions that differ in the type of processor. You can choose between Snapdragon 430 with Adreno 505 graphics and Snapdragon 425 with Adreno 308 graphics. You can have "up to 4GB of RAM" (as the manufacturer states) and 16, 32 or 64GB of internal memory. Unfortunately, so far, the manufacturer's specification has not included a list of available pickups, so we can’t conclusively determine how many versions are available for Asus Zenfone 4 Max.

The remaining specifications are less problematic. Asus Zenfone 4 Max has a 5.5-inch FullHD IPS display and two SIM card slots and an additional 256 MB microSD memory card slot. So there is no hybrid - it's full DualSIM with the ability to expand the built-in memory. The new Asus also has an 8-megapixel front camera with a f/2.2 lens and a field of view of 85 degrees. The rear camera is dual and has lenses of different focal lengths - one is classic 80 degrees, F/2.0 and the second one - wide angle, with a field of view of 120 degrees. The camera is capable of capturing 13 megapixel photos, as well as connecting frames to get a 52 megapixel image.

The big advantage of the phone is that it has a capacity of 5000 mAh. It can not only provide Zenfon with a long working time but also charge other phones with the adapter that is included in the kit. The phone can run up to 46 days in standby mode, but it will take up to 4 hours to fully charge the battery. On the other hand, fast loading mode will allow you to charge up to 3 hours of phone calls after 15 minutes.

The phone also has a fingerprint reader, LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1 and FM radio, all managed by Android 7.0 with ASUS ZenUI interface. For the time being, we do not have information on the availability of individual versions of this model. Earlier information shows that on the Russian market the cheapest option will be 13,900 rubles, which is about 236 dollars.
