The Italian branch of LG unveiled yet another LG Q series smartphone. This time it is LG Q8, closely related to LG V34 isai Beat, available in Japan for over half a year.
The designation suggests that LG Q8 is to be a mid-range model, positioned higher by the recent LG Q6. The point is that the styling of the phone does not refer to either Q6 or G6 in any way - but the Japanese V34, which is the local compact version of LG V20. Is it the announcement of a modification of the entire LG portfolio associated with the entry of the LG V30 onto the European market?
It's not easy to determine, but coming back to specifics ... LG Q8 has a 5.2-inch IPS display with Quad HD resolution and an additional 2.1 inch screen with a resolution of 1040x160 pixels. The heart of the machine is a Snapdragon 820 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, supported by 4 GB of RAM and supplemented with 32 GB internal memory and a microSD slot. LG Q8 also has a fingerprint reader, a 32-bit Quad DAC HiFi audio receiver, and a 3000 mAh high-speed rechargeable battery.
