Archos has updated information on the premier IFA devices in Berlin. This time there was announced the flagship smartphone Diamond Alpha Plus developed in cooperation with Nubia and the flagship tablet Diamond Tab.
Equipped with an eight-core Snapdragon 653 Archos Diamond Alpha Plus has 6 GB of RAM, 128 GB of internal memory. It was developed in collaboration with the Nubia brand on the basis of ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini, and it seems to be a device designed for photographic functions. Its dual 13MP SONY rear sensor (one black-and-white, the other colour), combined with powerful algorithms, allows powerful shots with vibrant colors. Its front sensor of 16 MP is an additional asset for successful selfies, even in unfavorable situations.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow comes with the Nubia UI 4.0 interface. Archos Diamond Alpha Plus supports 2 SIM cards, unfortunately in a hybrid slot, so if you want to expand your memory with another 256 GB, you will have to opt out of one SIM card. Without any compromises, you can use the 5.2-inch FHD (1080x1920 pixels) display and a fingerprint reader, LTE (800 MHz) or 4K video recording.
The smartphone will go on sale in October and will be available for € 399.99.

The Archos Diamond Tab tablet has a 10.1 inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2560x1600 pixels. Hardware was based on a Rockchip 3399 with 2 GHz clock, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of flash memory. It works under Android 7.0 and offers stereo without headphones thanks to 2 built-in speakers. With a size of 255x163x8 mm weighs 510 g and it is powered by a 6600 mAh battery. It has two cameras: 13 megapixels on the back and 5 on the front. It will cost € 299.99, and in stores it will debut in October.
