HMD Global has unveiled the new budget Nokia 2 in India. As expected, the phone has a rather poor specification - but a solid battery.
It seems that the powerful battery of Nokia 2 was made here the main "sales locomotive". Indeed, a 4100mAh battery, coupled with a not-too-intensive interior of the phone, can make the manufacturer's declaration of 2-day operation likely to be covered.

Nokia 2 received a 5-inch LTPS HD screen with Gorilla Glass 3 and a Snapdragon 212 processor, powered by a gigabyte of RAM. The internal memory is modest - only 8 GB, fortunately with the ability to zoom with a microSD card.

Interestingly, the phone has a Cat 4 LTE module with VoLTE and VoWiFi support, as well as Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou and FM radio, plus a minijack output. The housing is made of polycarbonate and is waterproof at the IP52 rating level - so you can recognize the phone as splash proof.

Nokia 2 comes complete with two cameras – the front 5 megapixel with fixed focus and the rear 8 megapixel with an autofocus and LED flash.

The phone is available in a single-card version and DualSIM (with separate sockets) and the housing dimensions are 143,5x71,3x9,3 mm. Nokia 2 debuts with Android 7.1.1 Nougat, but promised a quick update to Oreo. The price will be 99 euro and the device will be available from mid-November. The phone comes in three colour versions.
