A popular leakster Evan Blass has released the schedule of this year's Samsung flagship launches, namely Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+.
According to the information Blass received from a high ranked employee of a well-known company that makes covers, the Galaxy S9 pair will debut on February 26. However, taking into account the time difference between Korea and Europe, we can assume that the launch of both smartphones will take place on the eve of the start of the MWC, ie February 25 in the evening. In previous years (at least in the case of Galaxy S5, S6 or S7) - that's how it was. The telephones were presented on the Sunday evening preceding the start of the MWC.
Blass also states that the presale of the new models will start on March 1 (or 2) - shortly after the MWC. Regular sales are planned for the date after March 16 - then the delivery of pre-ordered devices will begin, and therefore at the same time, the phones should appear on store shelves. The schedule provided by Blass confirms the information we obtained during the CES fair - also indicating the date of the S9/S9+ launch at the MWC.
