During the MWC trade fair, Wiko firmly launched new products. It is primarily a continuation and extension of the View series and subsequent releases of Jerry, Tommy and Lenny models.

In total, we saw 8 new models from Wiko. The main attraction is the launch of the View2 series of smartphones. It has been prepared for the most demanding users. These smartphones offer a wide screen, a multitude of photo processing functions and smooth operation. Wiko equipped the View2 models with displays with a 19: 9 aspect ratio and leveled the bezels around the display. Specially designed user interface is adapted to the shape of the screen, thanks to which it is possible to fully use the potential of the innovative display. The top bar can be used to answer calls or scroll through music.

Great colour reproduction is one of the most important advantages of the entire View2 series. The phones have a 13 megapixel rear camera, while View2 Pro has a dual 16-megapixel rear camera module with a Sony IMX499 lens (wide angle, 120 degree lens range). The rear View2 Pro has a very large aperture of f/1.75 to capture the light even better and to record more details and colours in lower light conditions. There is also a Super Phase Detection Auto Focus (PDAF) function that allows you to get better quality pictures taken in a dark environment. The model with a double camera allows you to achieve a blur effect on the pictures. The View2 series models also allow you to record in slow motion mode and stabilize the FHD image.

In both models there is a 16-megapixel front camera, based on Big Pixel technology and equipped with a f/2.0 aperture. Big Pixel improves the capturing of light by changing the pixel layout, giving 4 times light sensitivity. And the other parameters? First of all, the 8-core Qualcomm processor, supported by 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of built-in memory in View2 and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal memory in the View2 Pro model. The memory can be expanded with a MicroSD card with a capacity of 128 or up to 256 GB. The 3000 mAh cell is responsible for supplying energy. Smartphones work on pure Android, they offer face recognition and NFC.

The recommended price of the Wiko View2 model is EUR 199, and the Wiko View2 Pro model is EUR 299.

Other novelties are the models from the View series with 18: 9 screens: View Go, View Lite and View Max. View Go has a 5.7 inch HD display, a 4-core processor from Qualcomm, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in memory. Everything is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery. It works under Android Oreo and supports Face Unlock. It is available in black, gold and cherry at the recommended price of 149 euro.

View Lite is more compact - it has a display with a diagonal of 5.45 inches, embedded in a coherent housing, which is suitable for trouble-free operation with one hand. Its main camera has 13 megapixels and the front one has 16 megapixels. The biometric protection here is a fingerprint reader. The smartphone will be sold for 159 euro in three colours: black, gold and cherry.

View Max is designed to increase viewing comfort with a 5.99 inch display. In addition, the Max model has been equipped with a 4000mAh battery, allowing the use of a smartphone for 2 full days. It has a 13-megapixel main camera and an 8-megapixel camera on the front. Additionally a 4-core processor with 1.3 GHz, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal memory, Android Oreo on board and a fingerprint scanner and Face Unlock for data security. The recommended price for this model is 179 euro.

The next portion of the new products are the Y series models: Jerry3, Tommy3 and Lenny5. Pocket Tommy3 has a display with a diagonal of 5.45 inches in the 18: 9, 4G and 4G format and NFC for contactless payments. And besides, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of built-in memory. The whole works under the control of AndroidGo and is powered by a battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh. The recommended price is 159 euro.

Lenny5 has two speakers and a 5.7-inch HD display. For AndroidGo, a battery with a capacity of 2800 mAh, 1 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Lenny5 was priced at 149 euro.

In contrast, Jerry3 combines the most important functions of the aforementioned models in a compact version, equipped with a 5.45 inch display and a 4-core processor. It has a battery with a capacity of 2500 mAh, AndroidGo, 1 GB of RAM, 16 GB of internal memory and tempered glass 2.5D on the front. The manufacturer priced this model at 179 euro.
