Huawei today officially presented the flagship series of P20 models.
The launch of the Huawei P20 family took place in Paris - the city of lovers. I'm not in love. I am also far from exalting myself with any technology, but Huawei has actually shown something new this time - and it is not just a quantitative change. On the back of Huawei P20 Pro there are 3 cameras that can do more than the sets of smartphones available on the market so far. First of all, they offer an unusual hybrid zoom, which is a combination of a record-high matrix and focal length of individual units, and secondly: photos in poor lighting conditions will no longer be too much of a problem.

When I write about the launch, I mean mainly Huawei P20 and Huawei P20 Pro, because the P20 Lite version can be ordered in pre-sale in Poland. Of course, the Porsche Design Huawei Mate RS is a dark object of desire. It looks stunning, but the price, unfortunately, deters.

Huawei P20 in the basic version offers an IPS 5.8 inch Full HD Plus display, with FullView 2.0 technology. It has two cameras with 20 and 12 megapixel sensors on the back with f/1.8 and f/1.6 respectively with Summilux lenses, hybrid autofocus, optical image stabilization and Fusion Pixel technology. In the front we have a selfie camera with a quite unprecedented 24 megapixel sensor, which was additionally equipped with self-portraits enhancement software.

Huawei P20 also received a codec package that supports high-definition audio. The smartphone operates under the control of the Huawei Kirin 970 processor with a 2.96 GHz clock with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. A 3400 mAh battery is responsible for the supply - of course, with a Super Charge fast charging.

Huawei P20 Pro primarily distinguishes the three cameras located on the back of the casing, one below the other. The smartphone also works under the control of the Huawei Kirin 970 processor, but it is equipped with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of flash memory. The 4000 mAh battery with Super Charge is responsible for the length of work on one battery charge. The 6.1-inch OLED display works in Full HD+ 1080x2240 px resolution. As it is easy to get an idea of the resolution of the display, the smartphone has a characteristic notch at the top - in which the camera with a 24 Mpx matrix with a face mapping function was placed similarly as in the basic version. This means improved beauty correction and even better virtual makeup.

- But let's go back to the rear cameras: the module has been equipped with Leica optics - Summilux lenses. One of the cameras has a record (similar in size to that of PureView) today 40 megapixel matrix, another 20 and 8 megapixels. Thanks to these three cameras, the device will offer hybrid enlargement unprecedented in any smartphone. Cameras offer optical image stabilization, as well as the Super Night mode, which by using the stabilization allows, with reasonably efficient hands, to expose the night image up to 8 seconds. In this way, the need for a tripod disappears. Thanks to the Super Action Snapshot function, you can immediately take a photo - the focus is set in 0.3 seconds, and the volume control button is used as the trigger. Cameras have the ability to track the subject in motion andare able to focus on it.
