Oppo F9 debuted in China, followed the R17 model of the brand with a characteristic "droplet" notch in the screen.
Notch in a shape of drops look more attractive than typical ones, and it takes up less space on an almost frameless display. This screen has a diagonal of 6.3 inches and a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels, and is further protected by a new Corning glass, or Gorilla Glass 6.

Under the display there is a 4-core MediaTek Helio P60 processor that supports 4 GB or 6 GB of RAM. Interestingly, the amount of memory for data is unchangable and in both variants it is 64 GB. The front camera has 25 megapixels and a brightness lens f/2.0, while the rear, dual camera has 16 and 2 Mpx matrices, and the lenses have apertures f/1.9 and f 2.4.
Power is provided by a battery with fast VooC charging, and among the communication interfaces we have LTE, Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz, Bluetooth 4.2 and Dual SIM, but NFC is missing. Oppo F9 weighs 169 g and comes in three different colours: Sunrise Red, Twilight Blue and Starry Purple. The housing dimensions are 156.7x74.04 x7.99 mm.
