TCL Communication today presented the latest BlackBerry smartphone, the KEY2 LE model. It complements the series of KEY smartphones in three coloor variants: slate, champagne and atomic.
The BlackBerry KEY2 LE smartphone has a Speed Key, it works on the Android operating system. The phone will be available for sale, among others in Germany, Great Britain, France, United Arab Emirates, Canada and the United States from September this year. The proposed retail price will start from EUR 399 for a 32 GB model and EUR 429 for a 64 GB model.

The creators of the phone argue that the new BlackBerry offer is a combination of a timeless design and modern finish. BlackBerry KEY2 LE is characterized by a lightweight polycarbonate frame and a soft texture of the back of the case, which provides a better grip of the hand and prevents falls.

The phone has a FullHD display, 2.5 D. The keyboard has been improved, the buttons are almost 10 percent larger than those found in the BlackBerry KEYone. The physical keyboard also has a quick access key that allows access to selected according to your own preferences applications and contacts. It is not necessary to return to the main screen or the search engine. The hot key is compatible with any key from 52 configurable shortcuts, so you can program any key in such a way that it instantly displays the most frequently used contacts and applications.
BlackBerry KEY2 LE has a double rear camera (13 Mpx + 5 Mpx), which has been enriched with additional functions, such as, for example, portrait mode. The complement is the 8 Mpx front camera equipped with an LCD flash and new photo modes, such as Wide Selfie (Panoramic Selfies) or Face Beauty, which are new enhancements to the selfie mode. Thanks to the integration with the Google Lens camera, you can learn more about the surrounding world: landmarks, buildings, books. You just point the camera at the selected object.

In turn, with the Locker function you can have control over the privacy of your smartphone and decide for yourself which photos and documents you will find in the cloud. The BlackBerry KEY2 LE also includes a refreshed BlackBerry DTEK application that offers new scanning features for proactive security controls to easily identify and reduce potential security risks, such as unwanted access to data by an application downloaded from a smartphone. Monthly Android security updates guarantee the best protection against emerging threats.

The manufacturer equipped the BlackBerry KEY2 LE smartphone in 4 GB of RAM and two memory variants: 32 and 64 GB, with the possibility of expanding using microSD cards. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and a battery that offers up to 22 hours of mixed mode operation. In addition, BlackBerry KEY2 LE is equipped with the Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 function, which allows you to charge the device in half within approx. 36 minutes.
