In London, a new variant of the OnePlus 6T model was presented today. The smartphone is created in cooperation with the automotive brand McLaren.
The OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition equipment list largely coincides with the specification of the base OnePlus 6T. So we have a streamlined casing with a 6.44-inch AMOLED Full HD+ screen with Gorilla Glass 6 and an integrated fingerprint reader. In the drop-shaped screen indent we have a 16-megapixel camera with a f 2.0 lens, while the back has a dual camera with 16 and 20 megapixel sensors and both lenses with the same aperture - f/1.7. The smartphone powers a 3700 mAh battery with fast charging of the Warp Charge 30 via USB-C. The battery will fill up to 50% in 20 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no minijack, but the set has been enriched with a suitable adapter. Of course, the phone also has LTE, dual band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 and NFC.

Of course, the exclusive model, produced in cooperation with the famous automotive brand, must differ from the base OnePlus 6T. So we have the back of the housing with a carbon braid and an interface with orange accents. Not by accident. It was McLaren who first introduced carbon fiber to Formula One, and orange lines are the iconic trademark of this brand. Interestingly, the orange colour can also be found on the USB cable and power supply. Packaging - it will be orange - "carbon".
On the casing we also have the McLaren logo, we can also find it on the cover or on the system screen. The phone must be top - the manufacturer has therefore offered a large internal memory - 256 GB. One thing has not changed - there is no possibility of expanding the memory with the card - the double slot accepts only two nanoSIM cards. The heart of the smartphone is invariably the Snapdragon 845 processor, but in this release supported by as much as 10 GB of RAM.
OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition will be offered in only one version - at a price of 699 euro. The sale will start on December 13.
