As announced, today in China there was the launch of a new Xiaomi model, called Play. The phone is distinguished not only by the unusual name for the manufacturer, but also the unusual droplet notch for Xiaomi.
Xiaomi Play received a 5.84-inch screen with a droplet notch, 19: 9 aspect ratio and Full HD+ resolution. The menu provides adjustable colour saturation and eye protection. The heart of Xiaomi Play is the 8-core MediaTek Helio P35 processor clocked up to 2.3 GHz, supported by the graphics chip IMG GE8320 with Dual Turbo mode and 4 GB of RAM.

Xiaomi Play is equipped with 64 GB of internal memory, but they have not forgotten about the microSD card slot. There is also DualSIM, dual band Wi-Fi, LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, gyroscope and GPS/Glonass/Beidou navigation. The battery is charged with a 3000 mAh battery with fast 5V/2A charge - but via microUSB. The front camera has 8 megapixels, while the rear camera has two 2+12 Mpx matrices.

The smartphone has a built-in voice assistant Xiao Ai, and Chinese buyers will receive 10 GB of free data transfer for a year. The housing dimensions 147.76x72.89x7.8 mm are covered with Gorilla Glass (not given generation) and are available in three colour versions, and the weight of the phone is 150 g. The price is 1099 yuan, or $ 160.
