Huawei Y5 Lite has been offered since the beginning of November - but now it debuted in a new variety. Instead of Android with the EMUI interface - it has a raw system in the economical version of Go.
Replacing the manufacturer's overlay and the classic system with full Android 8.1 Go applications with Lite applications will definitely come out for this smartphone for good - because it is not - to say the least - too powerful equipment. It has a MediaTek MT6739 quad core processor and only a gigabyte of RAM, and the internal memory is not in excess - 16 GB. Fortunately, in the latter case you can add up to 256 GB on a microSD card - without having to sacrifice DualSIM: the slot is triple. It is worth noting, however, that this model also appears in the one-card version.
As for a real budget phone, Huawei Y5 Lite has rather simple cameras. 8 megapixel with f/2.0 rear and 5 megapixels f/2.2 front lens. On this modest background, the 5.45-inch HD+ screen looks quite decent, like a 3020 mAh battery. Nevertheless, the main advantage of this model will be the low price. Unfortunately, the Android Go variant will be offered only in selected countries.
