Samsung Galaxy S10e, Galaxy S10 and Galaxy S10+ after the world launch

Most importantly, all three models share many common features - such as the processors used (Exynos with higher efficiency and greater energy efficiency than the previous ones) or Super AMOLED Infinity-O screens with a 19: 9 aspect ratio. All three models have similar styling, as well as watertight casing (IP68) and support frames made of aluminum 7000 series.

Phones from the Galaxy S10 family are equipped with displays supporting HDR10+ technology and cameras that can record UHD movies also in this technology. The cameras have also been enriched with improved slow-motion recording, recognition of 30 scenes with the use of artificial intelligence and a composition assistant, facilitating the selection of the perfect frame. A novelty in the field of photography is also the Super NightShot mode, combining a photo from 7 frames recorded for 2-3 seconds or from 17 frames recorded in up to 40 seconds using a tripod. The brightness of the new Galaxy S displays is 800 nits, the software also features an improved blue light filter (with automation) and a night mode with a dark graphic motif. All three models are equipped with Android Pie with One UI interface.

The new Galaxy S also have Bluetooth 5.0, a new, faster Wi-Fi 802.11ax or LTE standard that provides data transfer speeds up to 2 Gbps. Multimedia content will be enhanced by speakers with the Dolby Atmos system signed by AKG, as well as headphones of the same brand added to the set. Smartphones offer support for the popular Unity games engine, the possibility of streaming Steam from a home computer and support for game controllers, including the new Qlap. The batteries support fast charging of 12 W, and in addition, smartphones can wirelessly charge other devices in the Qi standard. Just contact the loaded equipment (watch, other phone) with the rear wall of the Galaxy, having at least a 30-percent energy reserve. The icing on the cake are the new avatars of AR emoji, with a more natural appearance, which can now imitate our facial expressions and movements of the entire body.

The cheapest model in the offer will be Galaxy S10e, but the manufacturer emphatically stresses that we can’t talk here about the depleted or "Lite" version. This is a full-fledged flagship, although in a few respects giving way to the brothers. It has the most compact size and the smallest battery - 3100 mAh. As the only one, it received a flat screen with Full HD+ resolution and a diagonal of 5.8 inches. The screen is protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The dimensions of the housing are 142.2 x 69.9x7.9 mm, and the weight - 150 g. This model - also as the only S10 - has a classic fingerprint reader integrated with the switch key, located on the side of the housing. Seemingly - it is a bit too high, but it turns out that using it does not cause problems. In this model we will find a single camera at the front - it has 10 megapixels, DualPixel Autofocus and a lens with f/1.9 brightness. The rear camera is dual - it has a 12-megapixel main sensor, with a f/1.5-2.4 lens, optical stabilization, and a wide-angle additional lens with a field of view of 123 degrees and aperture f/2.2, cooperating with a matrix of 16 megapixels. Galaxy S10e will also stand out as a unique variant of colour - canary.

The base model, Galaxy S10, is already larger, has dimensions 149.9x70.4x7.8 mm and weighs 157 g. It also has a rounded screen with a diagonal of 6.1 inches and WQHD+ resolution, as well as Gorilla Glass 6. The battery has a capacity 3400 mAh, and the front camera is identical to the Galaxy S10e. The rear camera was, however, enriched with another, third sensor with 12 megapixels and optical stabilization, hidden behind the f/2.4 telephoto lens, ensuring lossless zooming.

The top model from the series is the Galaxy S10+ with the WQHD+ display with a diagonal of 6.4 inches, higher gradation of black and rounded edges and a battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh. The rear camera is identical to the Galaxy S10, but the front camera is double. The second 8-megapixel f/2.2 was added to a 10-megapixel matrix known from the remaining S10. It is used to blur the background - including with additional effects, such as blurring the background in the form of a spiral or changing its colours on gray. In the other two models, the front camera also allows blurring of the background - but it is done there only by the software. The S10+ also uses a different way of cooling the processor. Galaxy S10+ as the only one in the series will be available in exclusive variants with ceramic, black or white casing. Their availability, however, is to be limited. Galaxy S10 and S10+ are equipped with ultrasonic fingerprint readers, integrated with displays. These readers ensure efficient unlocking of the phone at low and high temperatures as well as in high humidity.

In addition to the three models that are already in the pre-sale from today, Samsung announced something else: Galaxy S10 5G. This is an additional model that differs from the other three, which will hit selected markets at the beginning of the summer. This phone - apart from the 5G network - differs from the brothers in size. It has a 6.7-inch screen (though still WQHD+) and a 4500 mAh battery. The dimensions of its housing are 162,2x77,1x7,94 mm, and the weight is 198 g. This is not the end of the differences. Both ToF (Time of Flight) sensors have been added to the front and back cameras, which will be used in VR and AR applications. For now, the availability of this variant has not been precisely defined.

The company still offers an option to buy back existing devices - but if the buyer resells the Samsung phone, he can count on an additional 70 euro rebate.
