The CAT brand, belonging to the Bullitt Group, today presented its latest smartphone, CAT S52. This model combines high durability with the features of "ordinary" mid-range phones.
CAT S52 is to combine the slenderness and handiness of an ordinary mid-range smartphone with a "tough guy" worthy of the CAT logo, a company known mainly for the production of high-end construction equipment.

In the case of the CAT S52 model we are dealing with a mix of a light and slim device, a "rugged" class phone with a reinforced frame, a screen protected by Gorilla Glass 6 and a body made of rigid, scratch-resistant aluminum and plastic. The whole is quite slim (9.69 mm) and fairly light (210 g), but at the same time it boasts mechanical strength in accordance with the US MIL STD 810G armed forces standard and IP68 tightness - including resistance to salt water.
In addition to high durability and compact dimensions - for the class of the device - CAT S52 offers the performance and equipment typical of a mid-price smartphone. Therefore, we have an octa-core Helio P35 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal memory. There are also minijack and USB-C sockets, which are waterproof, without the need for additional plugs. The smartphone also has NFC, dual band Wi-Fi, as well as Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS navigation, Glonass, Galileo and Beidou.
It is worth mentioning that CAT S52 is equipped with a set of cameras: 8-megapixel at the front and rear 12 Mpx, with a lens with f/1.8 aperture and a single pixel with a size of 1.4 micrometer. CAT S52 costs 499 EUR. The first buyers will receive a pre-paid Cat watch as a pre-sale (the promotion applies to the first 100 people who purchase CAT S52).
