Two new Honor models were presented in Beijing today: V30 and V30 Pro. The phones debut in the company of a new smartwatch from the Chinese brand.
Honor V30 and Honor V30 Pro are the first Huawei submark models that support 5G networks. Both models use Kirin 990 processors and have 6.57 LCD displays with Full HD+ resolution. The models - although theoretically have the same processor, are slightly different in this respect. Honor V30 has a separate 5G modem, while the V30 Pro version - a model integrated with SoC. However, both phones have the same dual selfie cameras placed in the "binoculars" screen hole. This camera has a main 32 Mpx matrix with f/2.0 aperture and night mode, and an auxiliary, 8 Mpx, cooperating with a wide angle f/2.2 lens with a field of view of 105 degrees.

The rear camera is another element that differentiates the discussed smartphones. Both have the main matrix Sony IMX600 40 Mpx, with double stabilization, but with different apertures - f/1.6 in standard and f/1.8 in Pro. The 8-megapixel module with 3x telephoto lens with f/2.4 aperture is identical in both models, but the next wide-angle one is different. The V30 has 8 Mpx and f/2.4, while the V30 Pro has 12 Mpx, f/2.2. Both phones can have 6 or 8 GB of RAM, but only Pro can have an internal memory of 256 GB. The base model has only 128 GB.

Batteries are also different: Honor V30 has 4200 mAh, while Honor V30 Pro has 4100 mAh, but with 27W Super Wireless Charge. Both support 40W Honor SuperCharge wired charging. The new models work on Android 10 with the Magic UI 3.0.1 overlay.
The price list looks as follows:

- Honor V30 8+128 GB - 3699 yuan, 526 USD
- Honor V30 Pro 8+128 GB - 3899 yuan, 554 USD

It is not yet known if and when the new Honors will come to Europe - but it is possible that they will reach us under the new name - Vera.

Honor today also - but globally - introduced its new smartwatch Honor MagicWatch 2. This device is able to work up to 14 days without recharging, it is waterproof up to 5 ATM and equipped with GPS. There are two sizes to choose from, 46 mm with a 1.4" 454 x 454 px screen and 42 mm, with a 1.2" 390 x 390 px screen. Both displays are AMOLED and the watch memory will hold 2 GB, although it has 4 GB nominally. The price of watches is 179 and 189 euros.
