Huawei officially presented the new models Nova 6 and Nova 6 5G. Models differ by the presence of a 5G modem and battery capacity.
Both smartphones are equipped with 6.57-inch LCD screens, Full HD+ resolution and 20: 9 aspect ratio. The screens have an oval cutout for a dual selfie camera, with a main 32 Mpx matrix and an auxiliary 8 Mpx. The main module has an aperture of f/2.0 or f/2.2 and autofocus on the 5G model. The auxiliary is in turn wide-angle, with an f/2.2 aperture and a lens with a field of view of 105 degrees. The front camera received 100 points in the DxO benchmark.
The rear camera is triple, with 40, 8 and 8 Mpx matrixes. The first module has an f/1.8 aperture, the second - a f/2.4 telephoto lens with OIS, while the third one is wide-angle, with an f/2.4 aperture, 3x optical zoom, 5x hybrid and 30x digital. Videos can be recorded in a maximum of 4K at a rate of 60 fps.

The heart of the phone - in both versions - is the Kirin 990 processor, but in the 5G model additionally combined with the Balong 5000 modem. The base variant has 8+128 GB memory, while in the 5G version there is also a variant with 256 GB internal memory. Both models have dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC and minijack, but are not equipped with a microSD card slot. There is DualSIM and a fingerprint reader on the side of the housing. Power supply in Huawei Nova 6 provides a battery with a capacity of 4100 mAh, while in Nova 6 5G - 4200 mAh. Both with fast charging 40 W. For this reason, the 5G model is slightly heavier and slightly thicker. Both phones run Android 10 with the company's EMUI 10.0.1 interface. Nova 6 is available in three, and Nova 6 5G in four colours.
