Together with the Galaxy S20 series smartphones, Samsung today presented the second in its history model with a flexible, foldable display. Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is a clamshell that, when unfolded, offers a large screen with 21.9: 9 aspect ratio.
Samsung Galaxy Z Flip looks like a tasteful box for cosmetics or jewellery. The housing shimmers nicely in the light, and the metal hinge adds style. The 6.7-inch diagonal Infinity Flex Display AMOLED display, working at a resolution of 2636x1080 pixels, received a coating of Ultra Thin Glass material. This is a completely new material, resembling glass with its properties and resistance, but at the same time allowing it to bend. Unfortunately, at the bend, as in the previous Galaxy Fold, you can see a distinct collapse. On the other hand, the screen folds almost flat, like a piece of paper.

Samsung worked closely with Google to design the Flex mode - a dedicated user environment. When the device is in the open position, the display automatically splits into two 4-inch screens, so you can easily display images, content or movies at the top of the display and control them at the bottom. For example, while watching content on YouTube, the video is at the top while the search engine for other videos, descriptions and comments form on the bottom screen.

Galaxy Z Flip can be stably placed, so you can capture more - from group shots to vivid night photographs and movies. Now users can create social media content at their best, without using their hands and without the need for a tripod. When closed with one hand, you can quickly capture a selfie using the rear camera, without folding the phone.

On the outer side of the Z Flip housing you will find the second, auxiliary display. It's Super AMOLED with 1.06 "diameter and 300x116 px resolution. It will display a clock or notifications. The heart of the smartphone is the Snapdragon 855+ processor, supported by 8+256 GB of memory. Unfortunately, the housing does not fit the microSD card slot. The cameras - 10-megapixel in the hole of a larger screen and two 12-megapixel next to the auxiliary screen. One of them works with a wide-angle lens with a field of view of 123 degrees. The smartphone powers a 3300 mAh battery with fast 15 W charging and wireless Qi.
