The official launch of smartphones from the Honor 30 family took place in China today. Three models were presented - Honor 30, Honor 30 Pro and Honor 30 Pro+.

The smartphones received OLED displays with rounded edges and a similar stylization, but different processors and other photographic sets. All models support 5G networks, but they lack the Google services package. As a system - Android 10 with Magic UI 3.1.1 interface.

Honor 30

Honor 30 is the basic model from the new family. It has a 6.53-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a Kirin 985 processor, supported by 6 or 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB of internal memory. Honor 30 has a camera equipped with a 40 Mpx main matrix and f/1.8 lens as well as a wide-angle 8 Mpx module with f/2.4 aperture. There is also another 8 Mpx matrix with optically stabilized telephoto f/3.4 lens (50x digital zoom, 10x hybrid and 5x lossless) and a 2-megapixel f/2.4 macro camera. The addition is a 32 Mpx selfie camera, f/2.0. The smartphone powers a 4000 mAh battery with a quick 40 W charging. The device has dimensions of 160.3x73.6x8.63 mm and weighs 186 g. There are four colour versions and three memory variants to choose from - 6+128, 8+128 and +256 GB. Prices are - 2999, 3199 and 3499 yuan, respectively, that is, by converting - 425, 453 and 495 USD.

Honor 30 Pro

Honor 30 Pro is already bigger - it has a screen size of 6.57 inches, but still FHD+. Flash memory is the same as in Honor 30, the larger variant also looks similar, but has a different heart - Kirin 990 - combined with 8 GB of RAM. Honor 30 Pro has a camera similar to that from Honor 30. The main and tele modules are the same, but the wide-angle module has grown to 16 megapixels, with an aperture of f/2.2. The Pro model has a dual selfie camera, where an 8-megapixel f/2.2 wide-angle module has been added to the 32-megapixel main matrix. The battery was taken from a lower model - we still have 4000 mAh with a fast 40 W charging. The phone is offered in three colour versions and two memory versions - 8+128 or 8+256 GB. Prices are 3999 and 4399 yuan, or 567-623 USD.

Honor 30 Pro+

Honor 30 Pro+ is a more powerful version of Honor 30 Pro. It has the same dimensions, but is equipped with a display with 90 Hz refresh. It will also appear in a variant with 12 GB of RAM (you can choose from 8+256 and 12+256 GB sets). Honor 30 Pro+ also received a more powerful photographic package, the star of which is the 50-megapixel RYYB 1/1.28" sensor, cooperating with the lens with f/1.9 aperture. Other cameras are the same as in the Pro model. Similarly, the processor and battery have not been changed , although in Plus there is the possibility of wireless charging with a power of 27 W, as well as wireless reverse charging. A variant with 8+256 GB memory costs 4999 yuan, or USD 709. The price of the 12 GB RAM variant has not been given yet.
