The upcoming Asus gaming smartphone, Republic of Gamers 3 (ROG 3) appeared in the popular benchmark, as well as on the website of the Chinese certifier. And this means that we already know everything about the device.
The appearance of the new model in these sources indicates its imminent release. But before the producer reveals everything about his work, let's look at what the office and the benchmark give.
The Chinese office TENAA writes that ROG 3 has an AMOLED 6.59-inch display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels. The heart of the phone is an octa-core processor (about it in a moment), supported by 8, 12 or even 16 GB of RAM. The set also has three variants of flash memory (128, 256 and 512 GB), but without space for a microSD card. The smartphone supports 5G and has a large battery - 5800 mAh. TENAA also mentions cameras. The front one has 13 megapixels and - I think - it is placed in a simple frame above the screen - or in the hole. Unfortunately, the photo does not show exactly this place. On the other hand, in the case of the rear camera, only the main matrix resolution of 64 Mpx was given. The camera has some additional two modules, so I bet on a wide angle and blurring the background or macro. The device has dimensions of 171x78x9.85 mm and weighs 240 g.
TENAA never determines the type of processor, but fortunately Asus ROG 3 also appeared in the popular AnTuTu benchmark, where with a top memory set it made an impressive result of over 646,000 points. The benchmark read that ROG 3 has an overclocked Snapdragon 865 processor. More specifically, the system has one Kryo 585 core with 3.09 GHz clock, three Kryo 585 cores clocked at 2.42 GHz and four Kryo 585 clocked at 1.8 GHz. The set is completed by Adreno 650 graphics. Benchmark also read that the phone uses LPDDR5 and UFS 3.0 memory - at least in the top version.
