Honor X10 Max officially. Is this still a smartphone?

As announced, Honor today presented its monster. Honor X10 Max has a screen size that until recently reigned supreme in tablets.

Once a 7-inch display was reserved for tablets - and although some of them could also act as a phone - rather few opted for such use. However, the technique is moving forward and our 7-inch Honor has already quite reasonable dimensions: 174.37x84.91x8.3 mm. It is quite small and light (227 g), but smaller than tablets from a few years ago.

We got to know the Honor X10 Max specification long before the launch, but it is worth recalling it on the occasion of the official debut. Honor X10 Max has a 7.09-inch Full HD+ screen with a droplet notch for an 8-megapixel selfie camera. The display is an RGBW matrix in IPS technology, offering 780 nits brightness and HDR10 support.

The heart of Honor X10 Max will be a Dimensity 800 processor with a 5G modem, supported by a 6 or 8 GB of RAM and a 64 or 128 GB flash memory. The rear camera will be dual, with a main 48 megapixel matrix and 2 Mpx for blurring the background. The phone will support DualSIM and NFC, it also has a minijack and a gyroscope. A fingerprint reader is located on the side of the housing. The power supply is provided by a 5000 mAh battery with a quick charge of 22.5 W. As a system we will see Android 10 with the Magic UI 3.1.1 overlay - but without Google.
